The Sun Also Rises… A novel written in 1926 by Ernest Hemingway about a group of American’s and Brit’s who travel to Pamplona, Spain to watch the running of the bulls…or the Encierro as the Spainards call it. Surrounding the Encierro is the always hype, always energetic, 24 hours a day for 9 days of non stop partying, drinking, parades, live bands and loud music.
This is it! The main event. The Encierro, The Running Of The Bulls. We find our balcony, speak with Andrew Runner before the run to find out his game plan to avoid being trampled by 6 fighting bulls. We get a birds eye view of the run from the infamous “Dead Mans Corner” from beginning to the end at the arena. People trip, bulls fall, people are injured and in the arena the madness continues as people are tossed around by bull after angry bull. Pamplona, Spain
After the party its time to eat. We visit a market cooking fresh meat as we talk to Andrew about his experience Running With The Bulls.
Using the latest travel apps, technology, and gear, I take a city; see the sights, taste the food, smell the roses, hear the stories and feel the love. All in 48 hours. Then, using videography & editing, photography and writing I retell and share those stories with my readers and viewers. I'm Christopher Rudder and welcome to Rudderless Travel.
