We all are aware of Pride Week in Toronto right? Well it’s been upgraded to Pride Month which basically runs for the month of June and ending with the infamous Pride Toronto parade. The purpose of the parade is to show solidarity with the people who have a certain sexual inclination towards the same gender. It was designed to support these people, which of course it still does but it’s much bigger than that now and stands for so much more. We are here to support each other and respect each other. Whether it is your sexual preference, my skin colour, his choice to not be a bully, her sexually identity, the religion we follow, the list goes on. In the pride parade, Canadian PM Justin Trudeau was also in the march to show unity with the people.
We own the body we have and we will do whatever we feel comfortable in doing. If a person is gay or lesbian then we should accept them the way he or she are. Who are we to judge them on the basis of their sexual life. We need to broaden our minds and we need to broaden our thinking pattern. This will not only provide us with the insight to accept people the way they are created, but also to accept the fact that they can change their body if they want to. We cannot just force them into a living a life which is not made for them.
Using the latest travel apps, technology, and gear, I take a city; see the sights, taste the food, smell the roses, hear the stories and feel the love. All in 48 hours. Then, using videography & editing, photography and writing I retell and share those stories with my readers and viewers.
