Travel Blog

Do you love to travel but also love your job or where you live? Maybe you have a flexible schedule with a couple of days here and there that allow you to take off. Are you currently stuck, or know you’ll be stuck on a long layover/stopover? Perhaps you only have two or three weeks vacation for the whole year and want to fit in as many cities and towns as possible. Or maybe you just love getting out for a weekend travel getaway.

With 52 weekends in a year not including “long” weekends, and with 16 – 24 days in two to three weeks, there is more than enough time to travel or visit one or several cities.

Short Trips, Mini Breaks, Weekend Getaways & Stopovers

Playful Posts, Informative Itineraries, Professional Videos and Stunning Pictures.

Here at Rudderless, you’ll get a rundown of a city or town we’ve visited during a weekend, short trip, mini-break or layover/stopover. We write about the place we stayed, what we ate and what we saw.

“In 48 hours, we take a city; see the sights, taste the food, smell the roses, hear the stories and feel the love.”

And, as avid lovers of technology, we always share how we incorporate the latest travel apps and gear that helped us maximize our time without feeling rushed.

Ummm, wait I can explain… 48 Hour New York Itinerary

For us, travel doesn’t have to mean taking weeks, months or years off work. You don’t need to move across the world to say you’ve “traveled“. Travel can be a weekend away down the coast from your home (my home – 48 Hour Toronto Itinerary) or a short flight to the next state, province or country.
