Istanbul, Turkey was was once Constantinople, now it’s Istanbul not Constantinople! We head East to the Country that sits on 2 continents. Starting with the Grand Bazaar.
In this episode we explore the historic Hagia Sofia and the beautiful Blue Mosque. Afterwards we visit Taksim Square while Muslims celebrate Ramadan here in Istanbul, Turkey.
Talk about living it up. These saltuns sure knew how to live and Topkapi Palace is an example of that high life. Before we head there we check a friend of mine and owner of Istanbul Cevhir Cafe Ali as he designs cappuccino’s. After the palace we meet up with Andrew and mine’s cousin and his family for dinner then finish our time in Istanbul cruising along the Bosphorus.
What a city! I can see why the Ottman Empire had their eyes set on Turkey.
