The Challenge

HeartBeats TO have a great design thus a great product. The design instinctively evokes passion and love for the city of Toronto. They understand and use social media to the fullest but with so much options of people to work with, the challenge is to simply narrow the list down and get a little move video/Youtube presence.

The Solution

Sometimes a solution presents itself when you weren’t looking for it. HBTO were looking for for additional options for distribution of their HBTO Baseball Hat. Naturally we put them in touch with our other client The Cap Guys and the rest is history. In order to get their product in and in front of YouTube we provided them with an interview feature video/episode on In My Own Backyard. Secondly, we arranged to have the host Christopher Rudder wear various clothing during the filming of In My Own Backyard’s videos/episodes. Lastly, we created a Lower Third Video & Banner Ad within the In My Own Backyard video/episode for the clothing Christopher was wearing.

Advertising – Product Placement (2014)

  • HBTO’s product and brand is in total alignment with In My Own Backyards videos/episodes and brand. It just made sense for the host of a show about Toronto & Canada to wear clothes that represent Toronto & Canada. It was natural extension for both brands.



In My Own Backyard – Interview Feature (2015)

  • Getting HBTO’s message and love for Toronto through to our YouTube viewers via In My Own Backyard made sense. In addition HBTO has some video content for their website and a Youtube link they can share on social media.
